haha thats priceless, well it was anyway.

i still find it hard to understand why people value these things so much, its just a bit of art at the end of the day

nah, he ownes a casino, that $139m is probably like pocket change to him

Nah. He's a :tosser:

Terrible attitude that only the very rich can afford. Fair enough if you've got it, good for you but don't rub it in our faces. I bet you could get a small country out of poverty with the money he's just wasted with his elbow.

If he gave as big a percentage of his disposable income to charity as I did he'd be on the news every day, and I'm no saint when it comes to giving money.

'Look what I've done' he said. 'Thank goodness it was me.'

Loving the whole 'Oh well.. it was only several million' attitude. Wish I could be so careless with money.

It's the same with anything regardless of value. What would you rather - you putting a dent in your Sedici or some idiot doing it?

its just his attitude though, its not the value, its what the painting IS. its a historic painting, done by a great 'old fella, who was a little crazy. the likes of which we will probably never see again. so this painting is irreplacable. so what does that prick do? he shoves his elbow thru it and then laughs it off!!

Would you rather put a dent in your car or would you like some else to do it? He's a billionaire for crying out loud - he can afford to get it looking pristine again. And what would the point in crying over spilt milk? And it's not like he went and punched a hole in it - it was an accident.

ahh but was it? or was it a publicity stunt, that obviously worked, since we're all talking about said prick

So what? Who cares? It's nothing to do with us. It's the calling of people tossers and pricks I don't agree with, when maybe they don't deserve it. He was going to make an absolute killing on that painting - the deal was done bar the exchange - what would he gain by effectively writing the deal off?

Would have still chopped off my elbow for its insolence if it done that, then while the elbow was on the floor, I'd have given it the peoples elbow with my smarter elbow.

Tis only fair.

LOL, yeah, I'd be well and truly gutted too, but calling him a prick and a tosser is a tad OTT IMO.
