Technical Terrible starting problem

Came home from a family afternoon out and to my horror the interior light on the Brava had been left on!,must have been on all night since Saturday evening over 12 hours argghh.Ok so try the car half fires up then dead battery well flat,so RAC called and even he has trouble starting.Eventually takes the plugs out as they wet with fuel flooding and burns them off with a blow torch reconnects and still wont fire!!.Takes the injector fuse out cleans contacts reconnects still wont start.In the end keeps winding and winding and winding(over 30 attempts) gradually catches and starts phew saved by the bell even the RAC guy was relieved.Surly a Brava 1.6 shouldnt give so much problem starting even if the engine is flooded,anyone else had such dreadful problems.?If my wife could have sold the car there and then she would have!!! :bang:

the fiat 'quality' is an aquired taste! youl get used to it..

If the battery is completely flat the car won't start, even with jump leads. You have to charge the battery up for a few minutes first.

The guy from the RAC should have known that.
