Temperamental Bravo

I've own a 1.6 HLX Bravo (99 T) for just over a year and for the last 5 - 6 months have noticed that its level of performance changes quite frequently. Sometimes when I put my foot down, it dosn't seem to have the same pull to what it had a day earlier. It also dosn't rev as quickly. Then I'll start it up again, sometimes just an hour later, and it'll be back to its usual self. Its not a substantial power loss, but it is noticable. Originally thought it could have been the fuel i was using, but I've put nothing but Optimax in for the last 4 month.

Does anyone else experience this type of thing. If you do, do you know whats the cause of it.

my 1.8's performance has dfropped off by about 5-10% i reckon over the last 2 months. Its due for a service in 300 miles however so i hope an oil change will osrt it out.

Does anyone know what is involved in a 36k service? I drive her quite hard, so want everything to be in top condition.

In relation to the fuel try a normal tank of petrol then put optimax back in. I had the same problem in mine feels sluggish after using optimax for a while but after a normal tank put it back in and it motors along.
