i posted about my new wheels on the VW forum i go on, and obviously being as blinkered within their own little scene as they are... they werent really aware Alfa also did teledials.. they just know about Porsche ones, cos its a common wheel of choice for a VW.. along with D90s and other Porsche wheels... and one guy said

"id be baked if i had poormans teledials"

for people who arent aware 'baked' its stupid sheffield, actually no..... stupid lowdownvw.com slang for annoyed

so im curious to find out, when did Porsche start making Teledials, and when did Alfa start?

google didnt come up with much :(

Porsche had teledials on late 70's 911's iirc and Alfa only had them from about mid late 90's

im a fan of teledials, but tbh, this could either look really good.... or really bad!! hopefully it will the the former rather than the latter!

for some reason pain silver wheels are just too.. boring for BravoBucket.
she seems to suit black centres and polished lips.
im not a fan of full black wheels though, i think they blend into tyres too much and just look like a massive chunk of crap

my original idea with the RH's was to change the black centre to a cream centre to match the interior, and have the roof vinyled in cream also

From memory, the first Porsche teledials date from the mid 80's. I certainly remember them on the 944, 928, and the best forgotten 924S. I don't think Alfa ones produced "proper" teledials until the 156, which started production in 1997.

HTH.

Cheers,
