is this legal, i was told it was illegal to do this? btw meant to be tail light!!!! lol

You are allright i think as long as you change the indicator bulb so it still flashes orange.I think you have to mask off the reflecters if you have them in the main light cluster.I did my uno ones years ago and and it passed an mot and i never got pulled for it.
