SX not starting

Help I have a Brava SX 14 cc 12v that won't start. The engine swings fine but the low fuel light is on and remains on after I have added more fuel. Even after I have added more fuel ($45 worth) the fuel gauge does not show it.

Fuel shut off valve maybe? I dont know, I dont pretend to know much about anything really. Im just here to look pretty!

crap the 1400 is underrated i know from experiance ist as quick as an mg zr 105 on more than 1 ocasion iv won them from the lights

You guys aint helping i aint concern with what u stated. All i am concern about is why it wont start and frankly what u guys stated aint got a thing to do with why it wont start.

I did suggest the Fuel Cutoff

I have done that but it didt work. I have done it a few times as I'm not sure what position it is in.
I read some where that you should hear the fuel pump when the ignition is on but if it is i dont hear a thing.

yeah, turn the key to mar and you should hear a kind o f buzzing for a couple of seconds, that's yer fuel pump.

Will resopnde later It is a holiday here in Barbados in the Caribbean infact it is Crop Over (carnival) so I am going to see the revelers and some lovey looking gals dress in there skimpy,revealing and lovely costumes/outfits.

A friend came and help me but he said that the distributor aint getting no current. Help

I just found out it(what i called the distributor) is actually a coil pack. car still not starting
