Technical SX dials in an S

This may have been covered before, but im going to ask anyway
Is it possible to put sx dials in an s? If so can anyone advise me on how to wire it in? I want a rev counter

Dave would this be a fairly simple job for an auto electrician, with a wiring diagram, or is it specialist.

I have been advised that its a straight swap, wiring is all in place.

I have just fitted the SX dials to my S and the rev counter and temp gauge don't work, I wired the rev counter up to the negative side of the coil but there appears to be 2 coils so I only get half the reading on the gauge.

i knew it wasnt straight swop i tried it already, but what i didnt try was swoping the plugs on the back on temp gauge side from top to bottom i think they are same size,
