Styling ???????? Sweat bands ??????????

my freind gave me some ITALY sweat bands to put on the power steering and brake resevoirs

What do they do?
they dont look bad but is there actual use for them?

Looks like they just make it easier to get tight caps off.

ive also seen Hondas with the Spoon sweat bands

They soak up any minor fluid leaks.
Or, you put them on your arm/wrist and use them to soak up sweat during exercise.

The ones you have, look like the latter, being used for the former.
