I want to lower my car, what do I get.

I've been looking and I can have springs, shocks, and all other kinds of crazy things.

I want to replace the whole lot and drop it about 30-40mm, any idea what to go for

Thanks

WANTED:Nice set of 14" or 15" Alloy Wheels PM Me With Any Info

I think I will need them hard cause theres gonna be 15's under the arches soon, so i don't want them to catch.

So i will now be on the lookout for uprated springs and shocks.

Another question: Any idea if the BMC air filters are any good, they seem rather expensive, but you get what you pay for I suppose

i cant find many suspension kits only springs.

The one that I have found so far is APEX, thats on fastfiat.com.

Thanks for the advice 'fixit', my mate had gmax i think on his corsa and there noisy

hi

you could getsome FK coilovers like I plan too. I am running 15'2 and need hardness to stop catching, but comfort when just driving merrily.

There a tab expensive, found em for 560quid.
Thats springs and shocks, the front is fully adjustable. between 35-85mm. and the rear is set to 40mm drop.

fk coil overs are only height adjustable arent they? not dampuing adjustable as well.

also i read that you have to get tracking and camber done when u change the height if your leaving it like that!?
is this true!?

hi
yeah, the front drop is more if you want it on the floor for shows etc. damping is fixed, but there supposed to be really comfortable, but also hold the car steady in corners.
There must be quite a benefit as most BMW modifiers use them, and also most VW places.
I gotta have the backend solid as its crammed with ICE, and with 15s I get scuffs on the arch just goin round roundabouts.

Adjustable dampers?
Either Koni or FK (I heard that they are Konis which a few cosmetical changes).
But cheap is something else.
