Technical suspension on 55sx

best way of replacing the front suspension on 55sx what tools

A good socket set,spanners and coil spring compressors, oh and a big hammer to knock out the two bolts that pass throught the front hub
Get new suspension to hub bolts and nylock nuts as you may have to destroy them to get them out.fiat dealer took ages to get these, so I went to a nut and bolt merchant and got four stainless bolts, nuts and lochk washers for a quid!

If you're going to do this I recommend getting the car up quite high to make it easier. I would definitely recommend doing the anti-roll bar as well as the lower arm because they both tend to be knackered.

Check the shockers as well. The Punto ones were never that good and some SPAX ones will make all the difference, especially if it's done anything like 50k.

its on 93000 and i dont think they have been changed would it be ok with out changing the anti roll i have a haynes and i torque wrench and lots of other tools anything special needed
