Technical suspension bodge bushes

hi all
can someone tell me exactly how these fit i know they go over top of original bush but how does this stop the nocking as on my punto the bit at bottom of bush where bolt head is the ruber has gone there and i am assuming this is where the nocking noise is. so if i place the rubber bodge bush over bottom how does it stop the metal bush banging.

i originaly baught motor factor replacement bushes but cant fit them

i only managed to get one fitted but the bottom plate of the bush came of so now instead of being rivited on to the ruber its just held with the bolt.

if some one could do a drawing and mail or post a pic would be very helpful

also would the bush i have mentioned that i have fitted cause any probs because of the bottom plate commng off
