Styling superlite wheels

Hi
Those wheels are smoor roadster rims from Germay, but if you check the superlite website they do an almost identical 3 piece split rim in massive euro style dish and they make them to pcd and offset you require about £120 per wheel,Hardest part is working out what offset you need with such deep dish wheels i think they have to be a negative offset or something.Best thing is to post a question on the site you found the picture, most Germans speak excellent English.
Cheers
Adrian

Cheers for all your replies.

13 x 7 might be a bit to wide i was thinking 13 x 6
But not shure as i am new to all this.

I have found out mini wheels have a PCD of 101mm is this to
much to take up with wobbly bolts? not shure of the offset tho.

fiats have an 98 pcd so wobly bolts shouldnt be used really

cinqs in particular have an 29mm offset

hope this helps and by the way a member called 'phatashki' or something similar is getting them wheels well think its him

Ello

Yeah thats me, finally got the cash and the time to get a set (Actually more like the need as my tyres wont pass the MOT :(), http://www.superlite-wheels.com is the website, i've emailed them last night about making a set of Classic's to my spec, as it doesnt say whether they make the classics to the your spec, only the 3 piece wheels.

I've enquired about a set of 13 x 7, (I looked at the 14's and didnt like them, call me fussy but the nuts are to spaced out from the spokes and looks silly lol.) as of at the mo i have 14 x 7 so yes you can fit 7" wheels on the car but only wit low profile tyres, i got 195/45/14 and may scrub if hard cornering round a roundabout with weight in the in the back.

Im looking to get if iirc 215/50/13 tyres which should have a similar rolling radius to my wheels at the moment so i wont notice any difference.

I was looking into getting 13 x 7 on the front and 13 x 8 on the rear (sticking out of the arches) but the tyres are more expensive so ill thought ill give it a miss and go wit 13 x 7 all round.

I think these wheels look awesome for the euro look which i am trying to get, alrdy smooth the side and rear, next up is a smooth front bumper (hormann) and bonnet, so a genuine abarth bumper maybe up for sale soon.

Wen i have some more news ill let ya know, and wen i get em delivered ill put up some pics. :D

Cinqtimmy you put your destination as Bridlington East but i think your probably nearer Bridlington North. Steve says ya got ya test booked so good luck mate

MotorWorldCinq if you look it says bridlington east yorkshire.

Cheers mate my test is on friday. if i pass then i gotta do pass plus
so i can get insured its too expensive without. 3 points from the monkey bike does not help. :bang:

Hi
Be careful when working out the offsets because they would be different with such wide rims.
Could be an expensive mistake.Check with one of the german websites before spending your hard earned.
Cheers

Ive got 7" wide rims on me cinq now, offset should be the same i would of thought they just have the nut holes as close to the offsett limit as possible instead of padding it out wit a funky design in normal alloys (if ya understand wat i mean)

Ill ask em wen they reply then, but i really dont fancy spendind £160 on 1 wheel, worth more than the car by the end of it, Altho my plastic friend might be helpfull.

why are wheels so complicated. damn things.
is £50 for the wheel made up to our specs or £50 plus the mods?

I really like the euro look.
Phatashki how did you smooth the rear bumber? got any pics?
In your car specs you say you have "Remote Door Opening"
does this mean you have removed your door handles?
Cheers

Hi
Check the search feature for posts on offset it`s quite complicated.Cinq wheels are flat on the outside but inner wide the wheels your after are almost opposite so i think would require a different offset.
Cheers

Its a standard £60 for the classic wheels but they dont make em to our size, so your looking at the 3 piece, custom made ones and they are £170 each.

My rear bumper is still in the body shop getting finished up along wit the boot, but yeah ill get some pics up wen its finshed, im still debating where to put the number plate tho.
Yes i have removed my door handles, door opens with remote, altho luckly i have 2 sets of doors and for the winter i put the old doors back on wit the handles cause i got bloody frozen out side as all the central locking had frozen and doors wouldnt open, had that happen twice bloody cold :(

my minilite reps were £300 without tyres, custom drilled to my spec from KN wheels
