General Supercharger on 2.4 Engine

Anyone actually got an Abarth with the Novitech Supercharger conversion, or know someone who has?

That looks awsome well out of my price range though!! Shame Fiat didn't supercharge / Turbo charge the engine from scratch.

Its something i've been considering for the future..maybe in a years time depends on the insurance hike...i would imagine for something like that they would want at least an extra £200 premium...if anyone can shed some light on that ?

mmm imagine Fiat brought out a NEW coupe with a similar 2.4 supercharged engine producing 260bhp! And it would only take about seven years crippling depreciation for me to afford one, I'd be driving one at 2011

I'm surprised Fiat stopped at a 2.4 NA engine for the top of the range, especially when you think about Alfa 147 with a 3.2 lump. OK, that's ridiculously over powered and will fall to bits in no time, but hell it's fun while it lasts.

Stilo 3.0 twin turbo 4wd would do me. Ummmm in a few years, if I have a lot more money and can find an insurance quote under £1000. Never gonna happen, can't see them introducing an engine to out do the Abarth now, they will be due for a new model in another 4 years and they aren't selling well enough for Fiat to bother spending too much on development.
