Technical sunroof

Hello all,
Just bought a cinquecento for the missus, (tempted to keep it after great drive home in it). It is a soleil model...the one with a large sunroof. i think the motor has had it! it needs slightly more than a helping hand to close.

does anyone know if the standard style sunroofs are motorised? and do you reckon i could use one as a replacement?

Any advice anyone?

No the standard ones aren't motorised so i'm guessing your looking at new from Fiat unless you can get one from a breakers....

Anyone know if a Punto Sunroof motor would do the job.

do you think a regular sunroof motor would do the job for one of these full roof length jobbies??

any suggestions gratefully received.
