Ok help please. Just got an R reg marea... had a K reg sierra... so far in the 6 hours I've had it ... i'm impressed. How ever last week on the test drive the sun roof worked... today ... after i bouth it and was too far to go back, it didn't. It electric and the fuses under the steering wheel seemed ok to me. Also how would i start getting a cd in the car ... do i need to replace the whole thing or will a changer work without any other Kit? hope someone can help. (wife liked the colour too.)

Hi and welcome to the forum :D

The sunroof 20A fuse is under the dash above the fuse rack with most of the other fuses in. Look above the alarm isolating keyswitch.

If that does not work there is a key and manual opening socket inside the light fitting in front of the sunroof. Give it a couple of turns in case the roof is stuck.

There are a couple of changers that will work with the existing head unit. Do a forum search as I can't remember the models.

Let us know how you get on. Good luck :D

Pole cat ... thanks for the advice it was a fuse ... a 30 amp once replaced it all sprung to life... do you know the make of the head unit that fiat use... and i have to say its a lovely drive.... once again ta..

fiat uses Grundig headunits in the brava. presume the Marea is identical

Met Cognac 99 Brava 100 HSX,

I looked at the CD problem, and it was cheaper to replace the whole head unit with an adapter plate, and steering wheel lead if fitted.

For a Sony MP3 player with free fitting from halfords the bill was £180 all in.
You'll be hard pushed to find a changer for that price.

Plus you get a much better sound, compaired to the OE.

Why do i like fiats??
