Are these connectors located under passenger seat related to the subwoofer wiring?

I recommend, you have a professional install it for you.
Ditto. But that doesn't always mean it'll go well - I'd had my car four days when I got the subbie installed. The expert managed to pop a pretensioner and the car was off the road for six weeks awaiting parts! The shop kept it stored in their installation bay and paid for a hire car when I needed it but it was a very frustrating time...:(

I fitted my own and it went perfectly (thankfully) cute little under seat pioneer .. ran earth & live thru grommet in firewall to engine bay

Plugs from sub to stereo.. fixed the sub to the floor so it’s secure .. presto I got base!

If I remember correctly mine's an older model of the same Pioneer unit. It's been in place for nine years next month without issue - and I push the bass hard!

I have 150w rms into my sub and 200w rms into the door speakers in my old Mazda, I have a bass tube I could use in the Fiat but it would rob a fair bit of space in the boot 8" x 18"

It's most likely the same as mine, 150W. I'd like to upgrade the speakers and fit a new system like you did but with the limited time I spend driving these days it's probably not economical. I wonder if sound deadening would be effective in the soft-top?

I don't miss DAB, I've hardly used even the FM in nine years. With sixty albums on the USB I can usually find something to match the mood.🤘

I like a little radio every now & then but I have loads for playlists I tend to shuffle!

I’m in my car every day so I probably may not have bothered if I wasn’t using her that much .. looking back though.. it was a lot of work! Don’t know if I could do all that again 😂

Replacing the front speakers is the best upgrade, use high efficiency ones(louder for same volume) and ensure they are wired correctly it's very important the +/- is the correct way round. Speak to a specialist when buying if unsure?

Thanks John. Yeah, I appreciate the point about polarity. Do you have any suggestions as to brand and type? It's a good thirty-five years since I last replaced speakers...📢:giggle:

My Mazda speakers were bought 30 years ago! Cost £600 then for 5 speakers so I'm out of the loop re make, JBL Infinity Alpine my fronts are American Boston Acoustics they still work as expected even after all this time guess quality pays in the long run
