Son has just dropped his ds lite down the toilet. Have shook it off and put it on the radiator to dry.....is there any hope it'll work again?

take out the battery unit, leave it to dry on its own for about a week, dont put it on the radiators as the heat could damage the screens.

I got my kameleon 8 remote working after the mrs got cooking oil on it by stripping it, cleaning and leaving it to dry for a week without batteries. Only had to strip as oil wont dry as such.

DS should dry out

*giggles* Dobby put her hand down the toilet :nerner:

Sod off did she. He dropped it, he retrieved it, the first i knew of it, he came in the kitchen asking for a towel for his ds :D

bless him, he's only 3 1/2 and must have been trying to wee and play the ds at the same time lol

Yeah think we'll do that, only problem is we need a really teeny screw driver so hubbys gonna have to buy one today

Well, would you Adam and Eve it!!! It is now working perfectly apart from a bit of water damage to the bottom screen but that seems to be getting smaller.
