The following is printed on 'Superguard' batteries:

Caution:

Do not connect improperly.

Charge or dispose of in fire.

Battery may leak or explode.

I have formatted it as it appears on the side of the battery.

i'm off to charge or dispose of these batteries in fire because they are flat.

Adamski if you read it again it doesn't say they'll explode if you put them on the fire. It just says they might explode generally. I trust you don't need a lesson in English grammar and the connotation it can bring to a sentence(s) at this point?

One of my favourite signs albeit, not strictly a warning sign, is outside a pub in Mudeford, it reads "No children or wetsuits allowed in bar".

I also saw a good sign when I was on holiday. "No selling coconuts after 6pm".
