You could get a cable to connect your TV to your PC and use it as a monitor, IE, VGA, DVI, HDMI etc

You could use a Games console, such as 360 or PS3

or finally you could invest in an bit of an expensive kit such as Popcorn Hour etc. :) Think they start from about £120, but don't quote me on that!

Hope that helps!

the new WDTV is good, the old one was a missed opportunity with no LAN
:yeahthat:

If I was in the market for this now, I reckon the WDTV Live is the one to go for, good price.

However, I will stick with my Popcorn Hour and 1TB internal drive, sitting on a network share with another 8 HDDs or so :spin: I really should invest in a NAS :chin:

To use your TV as a monitor, you would need either a VGA Cable, there is a guy on eBay selling 5m VGA cables for £5 atm, I'll give you link if you wanna go for one.

or if your Graphics card supports it, a DVI cable, but you would need to check if it has DVI...

Soap Dodger , many thanks for that and yes pls to sending me the link, my pc is nearly 7yrs old so i dont think the graphics card'l be up for it , going back to the vga cable-will it use the tv's speakers also or just the screen , if not any ideas there pls, many thanks.
