Styling Storm or Storm 11?

Hi all, i'm new here

I own a 1997 red, cinquecento sporting and havent done anything to it yet but i'm looking to get a body kit for it - I found these two 1)Storm 2)Storm 11 at this website: http://www.stxstyling.co.uk/StxStyling/Cars/Fiat-Cinquecento-Full-body-kits.1.htm

Which one do you guys think is better?

Also is the user bad_boy_racer about?I like what you did with your red cinquecento it looks really good - i saw the pics in this thread https://www.fiatforum.com/showthread.php?t=21728

Which kit have you put on it?Also how did you modify the hood to come down over the lights?

First off; welcome to the forum

the kit on that red cinq is the abarth kit, and bonnet is basically 2 plates welded onto the bonnet, best kit out of storm 1 and 2 is the second in my opinion

can get the replica abarth kit from http://www.tuning.co.uk/fiatshop/ and the bonnet you'd have to take your car to a body shop and explain what you want doing

my plans with cinq body styling are the storm front bumper not sure wich 1 it is but its the bigger of the 2
abarth rear and maybe abarth sides but might do some m3's or universals

my bonnet, which one? assume you mean the badboy'd one if so i got that pre badboy'd off someone who was returning his cinq to standard (ish)
yellow one i did myself with filler cant recommend anywhere in south east (unless your near Xtreme in harlow or similar? think thats south east ish? cant remember heh)

hi spudgun - your cinq looks wikid - i didnt really like that storm 2 kit at first but seeing it on yours is making me rethink!! Where did you buy it from and do you think a complete novice like me will be able to fit it?I know this is a lot of questions, but what is the best way to spray the body kits?Should you fit them on first and have the whole car resprayed or just spray the individual body kit parts?thanks!

nope u have to fabricate new brackets and u also have to sand them to fit as for spraying i am not too sure but the bodykit u can buy from

what does 'fabricating' these brackets entail?

well fabricating a bracket is basicly building one from scratch what i done with mine i got some 90 degree angled fibreglass cut it down to fit bolt it to the chasis and i used velcro to secure the bumper to the kit and then i bolted it in the arch on each side

K - i'm not really sure how to do any of that lol - dosent the kit come with some sort of basic instruction on how to fit it?

k - this is rather annoying - looks like i'll have to find a bodyshop near me to fit it then or possibly hava go myself if they charge to much for the fitting

Dont really like the storm 2 kit anyway, i mean wat the hell are those massive squares for, its far to big a bulky, go for the storm 1, that is a nice front end and the rear focus's on a nice center exit exhaust
