stilo's set up

Right i was driving around the other day listening to my music and thought this would be so much better if this car had my bass tube like the punto had!

As my stilo is the lowest spec it has only got the tape deck but this doesnt bother me as i put my mp3 player into it and now would not ever consider going back to having a cd player.

So my question is what could i do to put my amp and sub onto the standard equipment in the stilo? Is it even possible? Will the stilo's electrics be akward as ive heard?

I dont want to change the standard radio out of the car as with the face plate it looks to plasticy and out of place

does the standard h/u have preouts

if not then its not ideal, although an amp can be connected without pre-outs, im not to sure how its done though

hmmm i dont have a clue really about the stilos stuff its way to complicated for me, the punto was just about my limit

Last time I did anything like this was back in 1989, when I had a Pug 205 Junior. I think times have moved on.....

Ive just looked at a pic of chromegrey's Stilo. Hes got a sub connected up to the standard head unit. PM/email him to see how he did it
