General Stilo Recall

Hi all,

My Stilo's back in the garage again - drivers lock doesn't work, front tyres worn and gearbox problems - This is after the radiator fan failed in central london - Not fun - and to top it all off the car is only 11 months old.

But, through my own investigations I found out that my car was part of the ones shortlisted for the safety recall ....

Fiat UK never contacted me, nor the two dealers I have been to in the past. I cannot believe I've been driving a car which has had a safety recall on it and no one actually took the time to call or write to me. I just wondered how many other people have actually seen or heard about these notices?

Interesting!

I will check my engine number later on, car was only in yesterday at dealers for warranty work, lol, so hopefully not one of these 'rogue' cars. Saying that, I did buy it second hand, so maybe any recall work has already been done on it.

I asked about that at uncle arnolds. the guy there had a print out of work carried out, any outstanding issues registered to the car from fiat themselfs and there wasnt any. although ours being a march 02 its not effected with that
