Hello,
I've just noticed that when I pull away or brake and am just about to stop, there is a noise that sounds like a spring "twisting" or something. When 2 people are in the car it seems more pronounced and even when the steering wheel is turned to pull away from parking slots etc. I did have some trouble with the Handbrake, so replaced the calipers and the cable on the drivers side, it really had stretched, butu seemed to require a lot of tensioning to make the handbrake work. Its still not perfect when on a hill, but wondered if it could be the rear brakes making this noise, resetting themselves after braking and maybe the cable is too taught and its "groaning" when 2 people are in the car? Is it possible to reset the brakes/cables and get the handbrake to be more effective? If any one has any helpful advice, its greaty appreciated.
Thanks.:bang:
