That was hilarious....but proves an important point; you can get the better out of anyone in any performance car if you catch them 'asleep at the wheel' in other words not thinking about what they're doing. Yes, at last, a Stilo on TG and a Multiwagon to boot!

I had a 1.3 nova pull away from me in rhyl earlier, I floored it in third and had to wait seconds for the turbo to come on-boost.
He must have seen me getting smaller in his rearview mirror and thought "Yes! My nova is the quickest" Until boost arrived and I was so far up hiss ass he could probably tell I hadn't shaved today

400bhp from 2 litre engine says it all, 200bhp per litre from a turbo'd engine, no mater how well engineered is always going to suffer from turbo lag is you don't exploit the car in every gear at the correct rev range!

Anyway don't you typically pootle along at 40mph and then accelerate up to speed when you hit a 80 zone? Or do you like Twincamms drop to 3rd gear nail it to the red line and then claim your driving economically! Only kidding twin!

There is a thought twincamms, when you get to a 60 zone and the car infront pulls away do you try to stay with the bloke or do you just accelerate at your own pace?

I did the same thing ages ago, with my old 903cc Uno against my mate's 180bhp Escort RS Turbo. I thought I was Ayrton Senna 'cos I was pulling away, until the Escort hit boost and ripped past me as though I was driving backwards

Seriously, though, the RS is an old skool turbo lump at the best of times, I bet with those HP it is peaky delivery to saw the least.
