Apologies if this has been answered before among the many related threads.

What is the correct Tracking setting for a Stilo JTD 115 with 195/65 x 15 tyres?

When the tracking was checked when I had new tyres fitted, they said it was OK - 5 degrees both sides. 5 degrees sounds very big for any car to me.

I have the usual problems, excessive tyre wear on the outside edge of the rear tyres and even worse wear on the inside edge of Front tyres.

Not as bad as some though - I got 20,000 miles out of my fronts (but the inside edge was worn to the carcass - I hadn't noticed!)

Thanks in advance

5 degrees:eek: That's some seriously big tracking error! Might have meant 0.5 degrees; that's a bit more like it; but it doesn't mean diddly if the front wheels aren't aligned accurately with the rears

Have you lowered the front suspension?

Sorry don't know the figs for JTD but you can't beat going to a specialist and getting 4 wheel alignment if you have tyre wear problems.
