Hi,

Getting a bit annoyed at the amount my sei sporting leans on corners. Even my metro was never this bad [:0] What is the best (well, ok, cheapest:D) way to stiffen the susp. up a bit? springs? shocks? front anti-roll bar? strut brace? I have a bad back & my work requires regular visits to building sites (with associated bumpy ground), so Im not looking for anything too drastic!!

Mucho Gracias :)

Springs will make the ride harder and reduce roll, shox will just make the ride harder. If you want less roll but keep the comfort, go for an uprated anti roll bar. Strut brace is good, but all it really does is stiffen the front end of the car and improve the handling, won't affect body roll at all.

Cheers. What sort of effects have people noticed from uprating their springs/shocks have on steering? - eg tramlining or over/understeering?
Also - do harder bushes make that much of a difference?

I put Powerflex bushes on the rear of mine purely because the old ones were shot, the fronts are still original. Can't really say there's much difference, apart from the lack of clonking.

Mine tramlines a bit, but I mainly felt that after putting wider tyres on. If you lower the car, it will also make it more prone to lift-off oversteer when provoked.
