General Sticking Door Mirror

I have found another slight problem when you fold the door mirrors the passanger one only half folds out must be sticking slightly are they easy to take off and disconnect the wiring so i can strip it down and sort it out had a quick look and wiring gose inside the door is there a disconect are are they hard wired
