I have some car mats but they always seem to move out of place due to me getting in/out the car and they will probably end up jamming the pedals so i need to stick them down somehow. I tried double sided tape but it wont stick to the mats as they have rubber stud things on them. Any ideas? I thought about getting some velcro but not sure if that will stick to the underside of the mat either.

buy the proper fiat mats with 2 clips on driver's mat. they're far better than any aftermarket crap.
Cutting the mats to fit the footwell exactly does help. I cut mine so they are held in place by the accelerator pedal stop thing sticking out of the carpet on the marea. Its a total faf but they don't move.

sew the hook part of velcro onto the back of the mat this way it'll grip the carpet

then buy the dealer mats for your car, they all have clips on the driver's mat.
