Technical steering wheel!

Hi guys!,
Does anyone know where i can get hold of a three pronged pully thingy???,i need to remove me steering wheel as ive got a new one,but cant get the old one off!!!,got the haynes and looks like i need this three pronged pully thingy!!!,im stuck!!!:I

pully thingy? mine comes off with a huge bolt? (mines a sei sporting)

most tool shops have them,or you can drift it of with a piece of copper pipe ,so as not to damage the threads.if you undo the nut up till its flush with the top of the shaft this allows you to whack it without damaging the threads.if your not changing wheels often then it might be worth just getting the garage to do it if its really siezed on ,to save you buying a puller

Undo the nut half way, then rock the wheel side to side to free it - i.e. pull the left side toward you then the right. If you leave the nut on a bit, then the wheel won't bruise your forehead when it breaks free.

did exactly what pete said when taking mine of for re-leathering. except forgot to leave the nut on and cracked the top of the steering wheel right on the forehead. christ it hurt!

Got the wheel on!!!,only to have real trouble with the horn!!,it would appear i have a boss for a punto!(yet another mis order by Motorworld,IM NEVER TO RETURN THERE,YOU SHOULD AVOID THE CLOWNS AT ALL COSTS!!![!]),anyway,it fits on,but i need extra long wires for the horn cos it keeps wrapping round the colum on full lock!,any ideas how to get round this?,or will i have to sell my soul and return to the enemy's liar![:0],the new wheel is on and looks cool,but i cant beep at old grannies at zebra crossings!

oops - horn contacts should all be internal and turn with the wheel - summit amiss there fella.

Yes something is amiss!,the horn works fine,its just no room to be internal!,the conectors are fixed on the coloum yeah,then the wires from the horn go through the boss,but when turning wheel the wires wrap around the coloum pulling the terminals out at the coloum end!,[V],i defo have the wrong boss,its gotta be for a fiat as its all works fine,i just have no horn!!,might just bodge it now,put a seperate button on the dash,right near the leccy window switches!B),something different there eh?,
