Technical Steering shaft seal

Firstly Hi from a newbie on here.

I've found this site really useful with info so far, but the problem I have is oil leaking from the off side (passenger side) drive shaft.

Having done a search it seems a tricky job

The Haynes manual doesn't cover it so I was wondering if any one can offer advice on the best way to tackle it.

It this CV boot or gearbox gaiter your on about?

It's the where the shaft enters the bell housing, so yes to the gearbox boot.

The oil leaking has a strong smell (gear box oil) and is spread all around the bell housing.

Cheers Rich that helps alot, where would I find the full guide?

I've already done the H/G replacment and thermostat,water pump & cam belt/tensioner with info from this forum, so I'll have a go at this myself.
