Hi there.
Currently have 15" alloys on my 56 plate 1.3 multijet but want to change them over to steel wheels to use with winter tyres.
I know I can go down to 14" tyres (185/70/14) to equate to the ones on my alloys.
My question is: would normal punto wheels (which i believe are 14") fit mine or can I get specific gp 15" ones?

Or can anyone recommend other wheels which fit the gp stud pattern/sizing.

Thanks muchly

Not sure what PCD is but many thanks.
Can start looking at the scrappers for a set now. Had no luck earlier finding GP wheels.

PCD is the stud pattern, the first digit is the number of studs and the second relates to how far apart they are. You also have to be aware of the centre diameter when putting wheels from other makes on.

@ Kaz, are you looking to buy second hand/scrappers or do you have the budget to buy new?

If you are looking for new, check out:

For tyres, I would recommend Vredestein Quatrac 3 or Quatrac Lite. I bought the Lites as an all-season tyre, with a tread good for snow and rain, and I can confirm that running through massive puddles of late with those tyres the car doesn't even flinch. They are not the cheapest, but they get the thumbs up from various review sites for all season performance and are rated "C" for both fuel efficiency and rain performance. With those you wont even have to change tyres from summer to winter, just run them on the 15" alloys with a slightly wider profile.

Cheers everyone. I've had the winter ones put on my alloys for now. I'll keep looking for a set of second hand steels and once the bad weather is out of the way - say june-ish lol I will transfer the winter tyres to my steels and have some nice new ones put on the alloys.
