starting problems

i am having problems starting my ulysse 1.9 TD 1997 in hot or damp and wet weather it turns over but is very difficult to start, i have had new glo plugs fitted but this has not made any difference
anyone have any ideas

Hi, I have copied this thread from the Ulysse forum.

Can anyone help this lady, she is going away soon and needs the car. I don't think it is a Ulysse specific problem, more of a general engine query.
