Hey All
Just in the midst of replacing the starter motor on my Daughter in Laws Punto. Replacement has 10 teeth, while the original has 9 teeth. The Car Parts supplier are adamant that it is the correct part for the vehicle. They say that the part they have supplied will actually fit an 8, 9 & 10 tooth spline!?
Anyone have any experience of this? I am dubious about fitting it, as don’t want to damage the flywheel.
