Technical standard tweeters worth keeping ?

Am in the process of upgrading my front speakers i know this has been covered before many times but there is a lot of conflicting advice out there . So are the standard tweeters worth keeping (i have mk4 fiesta tweeters at the mo) and should i fit some component speakers ? or some good 2 in 1 speakers ? lastly were is the best place for tweeters in a punto were they normally go or maybe next to the windscreen in the corners thanks

I upgraded mine along with the door and rear speakers.

As you can see the best place I found for my tweets was on top of the old ones lol.

Oh and I have the following:

JVC Headunit
2x Kenwood 6x9 Speakers in Rear Stealth Shelf
Alpine 12"Sub
2x 480w Componants With Tweeters
2x 240w Coaxle Rear Speakers
Phoenix Gold 1200 Watt 4 Channel Amp

Much better than the standard set up. A lot more clarity from fronts too.

Nice lads so by the looks of it the way to go is component and fit the tweeters in the doors ? i was thinking of putting the tweeters next to the windscreen and making some new wing mirror covers with out the tweeter covers

A-pillar will work but only when you are inside, high notes are weak to outside with door open.
