Technical Standard subwoofer speaker???

Hi all,

I was just wondering if it's possible to change the speaker in the standard 100w subwoofer to a higher standard one so it doesn't distort?

take the back off and measure it, see the dimensions but the standard amp in them is **** poor so it might be wise upgrading that too, you don't need mass amounts of power, maybe 200-250w would sounds nice with the right sub

the speaker has two voice coils as it runs from both channels
be aware of this because this is unique and if putting a normal speaker in it would blow something unless you only used the bass from one channel of the power amp
