Tuning Standalone ecu for Fiat Coupe 1.8 16v

Hello, I have a Fiat Coupe 1.8 16v from 1996 with engine code 183A1000 and I want to upgrade it from the original ecu to a standalone but I do not know what standalone to choose.
Do you have any suggestions for this change?

A bit late to answer but I'd use a piggyback to the standard ECU. Much easier and faster than using a standalone.
MEGASQUIRT is cheap but complex but with a lot of open world support.
AEM is good, reliable, good support, many hardware options but expensive

I repeat... I'd go for the piggyback option.
