Hi

Does anyone know the weight of the Bravo and Brava range?

I have a set of BnG -40mm springs listed for 1.4 1.6 and 1.8L Bravas. The front springs look identical to a Tipo springs. I want to fit the BnG front sprongs to my Tipo if possible. I just think the Tipo 2L will be a bit too heavy for them.

Thanks

Yeah I think 2.0 Tipo will be too heavy. It uses the same springs/shocks as the 1.9D/TD. When I was looking for springs for my 1.9 TD I found loads of places with springs for 1.4/1.6/1.8 Tipos and 1.4/1.6/1.8 Bravos.

If you visit the Bilstein website they list a lit of cars and you might be able to find another car that you can get springs for.

Thanks for the replies

Ok I found Bravo 1.8 listed as 1164kg, 1.6 SX listed as 1050kg

My Tipo is a bit lighter than most, only 1070kg but it does have a heavy engine. Tipo 2.0 16V is 1180kg afaik.

From that you would think the bravo 1.6/1.8 spring kit would be sutable. However ive tried the Tipo 1.4/1.6 spring kit and the front sits way to low with the 2L engine. Does anyone know if the Tipo 1.4/1.6 aftermarket lowering springs are the same as Bravo 1.6 1.8? If they are it's not going to work.
