Technical sporting/hgt and active console swap

Is it possible to swap the silver centre consoles in the HGT/Sportings, with the dull and black ones found in the Active models?
The Sporting/HGT centre consoles extend to the gearbox and handbrake area, but the Active does not.
Would it fit anyway? As i`m guessing the gearboxes are in the same place

So what about the gear stick bit? I see there are screwholes there

Not every screw hole will tally up, but as long as you take all the parts you will be fine, ive done two!

cool. So i`ll need the console, gear stick leather, gearstick? what bits will i need altogether?
