General Sporting Alloys ~ Spraying?

I'll have some Mk2 Sporting Alloys soon and was thinking about gettin' them sprayed all Black, but then I saw some Wheels that had been sprayed black but the Rim was left Silver.. Looked great.

Not sure what It would look like on Sporting Alloys though?

How much to get It done?

Very nice idea, id love to see it personally pure black is the way to go Anachrite or however you spell it, dosent float my boat i just think it looks dirty grey, black and silver would be quality.

i'm not sure about the rim tbh, but you can always try it and if you dont like the outcome match them up

I was thinking maybe a Silver/Chrome rim and then the rest sprayed a Matt Black! Would look great I reckon

I wouldn't want to do It myself as I want It to turn out great, got somebody who might do It for me though.

yer they just look like they covered in brake dust all the time like you dont bother to wash your car

What do you guys think to getting them done Black with the Rim the same colour blue as my Car?

yeah gloss, id personally think a chromed rim, but each to there own, that would be extra paint also

Spraying the whole alloy then applying rim tape would be easier than masking off parts.

best do them white then
also best to powder coat wheels not paint it last longer

I'll be leaving them on the Car standard for a while before I get them sprayed so got plenty of time to decide!

I think I'll get them sprayed Black though and put a Blue 'stick on' Rim?

OP have you seen Daves car, if you havent take a look and it will chnage your mind to do them white, it looks fantastic with the blue

i got a light here i tested half blue half black it looks naff

got my wheels off ebay ages ago
