General Spit and polish !

Ok, so it's stopped raining for the first time in what feels like forever !!!!

Gonna give the little fella a bath and then get my electric buffer out and see if I can get some shine back into the paintwork !!

Will, hopefully, report back later with pictures !!!

He's had a wash, just waiting for him to dry.

Then T-cut to try and get rid of some of the crap and then a good polish

Anyway,he's had a polish all over and looks a bit more presentable !

Overcast here too but need to polish before donnysouth tomorrow. Just washed - about to get the polish out.

Can guarantee its gonna rain at some point. Car wil get filthy from motorway spray on the 250 mile trip down there.

I've just finished cleaning it... its now been washed, shampoo'd, rinsed, vac'd, t-cutted (to remove previous baked liquid wax [never use that stuff]), waxed and chammy dried... then it started to rain..
but out came the chammy again. its now clean and dry!!! you just know it's gonna pour it down overnight...
my fingers feel waxy...

6 hours ?? Think I'd have lost the will to live by that time !!

I'm hoping to leave Charlie with a mate next weekend while we go on
holiday. He's a real bodywork nut. Hopefully, if he's got time, Charlie
will look like new when we get back !!

Unfortunately with a dark car - thas what you need to do to make it look clen. Black - hardest colour in the world to get to shine. Grrrrr.

Blooming weather ! :\

Only half my estate has been t-cut and polished and I got it about a year
and a half ago !! I find polishing far too boring and prefer the dirty hands-on
jobs. Hence the reason it's only half done ! lol
