Does the fiat panda 169 have an input shaft spigot bearing? Thanks
No. It's a two shaft gearbox so doesn't need one. The gearbox input shaft doesn't even have a "nose" which locates in the flywheel. However, if you're taking the gearbox out be very careful to ensure the locating spigots are there where the bell housing meets the back of the block when reinstalling. These ensure the crankshaft and gearbox input shaft are aligned. If even one is missing you risk misalignment, the usual consequence of which is a worn gearbox input shaft - and the input shaft bearings are a wee bit suspect anyway so you don't want to stress it unnecessarily. Of course you still need to centralize the clutch driven plate with the hole in the centre of the flywheel/crankshaft when fitting a clutch.
