I'm looking to get a hardtop for a 1980 spider 2000 does anyone

a) know a good place to get one from

b) know if the soft top has to be removed in order to have a hardtop on the car

Were you able to find what you're looking for? You might want to check 4WheelOnline. I got my softop there a year ago. It's pretty durable and easy to install. I think they have handful selections of hardtop and sunroof.
