Technical Speedometer's stopped working..

Hi guys, just need abit of advice on how to fix my speedometer..

It was working perfectly fine and I drove the car home today, parked it for an hour and then took a trip to the supermarket, on the way up I noticed the speedometer wasn't moving.. :bang:

any advice on how to fix it? or if it's easy enough to do myself?

I'm Kerri's Dad, the car is not at my house burt she brought it over yesterday & I took it for a drive, I gave the speedo a wee knock & the needle jumped & then worked. After that every time the car stopped (lights etc) the speed wouldn't move then about a minute later it jumped & started working!

It's a sei on an s plate

Cable then.

Pull the cluster and make sure the cable is seating properly.
