Technical Speedo Wobble

My speedo needle 'wobbles' in a range of 3mph/5kph. It can prove to be rather annoying when you are going past a speed camera.

It happens at all speeds. Do you think this is a dodgy cable?

Turned out to be a faulty sender unit. Something that justified a recall by Fiat.
