Alrite ppz, got some 6x9s delivered other day. JVC 280w, but no speaker wire or screws, just wondering what wire i'd need and where to buy it etc and would it be a good idea to add some mdf to support the parcel shelf?

you just need speaker wire basically, are you going to patch into the rear speakers or run the wires directly to the head unit?

i put MDF under the 6x9s in my old punto as it kept banging up and down. Its not essential really though.

wood or plasterboard screws are suitable

thanks, yer i just wana wire them straight to the speakers either side of the parcel shelf. and disable the old ones for the 6x9s

yeah you should be fine, you can get speaker wire from any local DIY store/ motorfactors

sounds good to me! wires are easy to get hold of ect.
