General Spare Wheel / Jack / Nut issue

Hi all, big newbie here and am looking for some input and help from regular, knowledgeable folk.

I have a 57 plate Bravo which when new the owner decided not to invest in a spare wheel for. I would like to get one, plus a jack and wheel nut too.

I have contacted the Fiat dealer close by and they have said all in all i'm looking over £300. I'm basically just wondering if anyone can advise me if there is a cheaper option to go with here.

I'm more of a removing computer parts, installing stuff on there rather than a car person etc so any help would be much appreciated.

As I have advised many people recently, try shop4parts. If they don't list it email or call them and ask. They sell stuff out at far less than the dealers in most cases.

Have you tried looking on eBay for "breaking bravo" there might be a crashed car with a perfectly good spare in the boot.
Might be cheaper than buying new.

Searching for breaking bravo didn't bring much joy in the way of crashed cars etc. But this did popup. FIAT-BRAVO-2007-13-SPACESAVER-STEEL-SPARE-WHEEL-TOOL-KIT-JACK-WHEEL-BRACE (part of a url, but cannot post due to under 5 posts) - £130 including postage so a good £170 at least cheaper than the Fiat Dealership.

Looking at the specifications regarding what it will fit, it is showing my 1.4 mkII (2006 - 2013) hatchback. Mine is a Dynamic, but I assume that wouldn't make a difference to the space needed in the boot (correct me if I am being a bit dim)

HI there.
I'm a newbie and hope you don't mind me jumping on this post - apologies if I should have created a new one.
I'm collecting an 09 Bravo Active T-Jet 150 5 door tomorrow. It hasn't got a spare wheel (I have checked this with Fiat to see if it's been removed but it hasn't had one from new.) but it does have the puncture repair kit. I'm not keen on not having a spare.. does anyone know if the spacesaver wheel from my 54 plate Alfa Romeo 147 would fit?

I presume your Alfa has 5 stud fixing, so no. You need at least a 15" wheel, with the appropriate profile tyre.

Put some alloys on, and use one of your steels as spare. Thats what I did, and Hellcat had one of the other 3, which stars in the How to guide in my earler post.

.. hmmm stud fixing? They are alloys on my Alfa so assume stud fixings?? My cunning plan clearly won't work! But thanks for the suggestion of getting alloys - can't afford to do that yet.. but will keep it mind.

It's not studs as such but how many, 4 or 5.

Correct, Fiat's are all 4 stud.

I'll save my pennies and buy a spare wheel. I've looked on Ebay and they have used spacesaver wheels for as little as £25. Or is that a risk?

Can I repeat what has already been said. Plenty of Bravos on ebay being broken for parts. Failing that have a quick call around of local scrappies, bound to have what you need for a decent price.
