Very nice. Are there an extra set of lights within the bumper or is it cold air intakes? I've got my cold air intake under there, and an extra Hella light set on top of the bumper. I'm planning to either move them as you have or integrate them into the fron grille. My Uno now looks like an old grandmother with monocles. :) If those are lights, are the beams passing throght the plastic satistafcory?

Thanks :D

They're lights behind the bumper.... I did think about fitting them into the grill 'cause I've seen ones for sale like that but went for this instead. They aren't actually wired up yet so I couldn't tell you, I just take that they'll look ok. I have a new turbo bumper to go on and turbo foglights in the bottom... when I finally get 'round to doing it all it should look good with the six lights on the front :)

Thats a really nice looking Uno turbo replica, looking good!

Has it been lowered?

Got to say that the stripe going down the body and the flag aint to my taste but everyones taste is different.

Thank you :)

No it's not lowered errm... it's got 14" wheels and the tyres are pretty big which fill the arches up a bit.

those stripes replaced ones that were on when I bought it... underneath it was hiding some scuffs and dents from car doors so they cover that a bit and along with the flags gives that bit of an individual touch (I prefer it to the blue and pink Uno Start decals that were on and the orange and blue stripes) I keep thinking about taking them off but... I'm not sure

Yeah I like the stripes - it's a 'period' look, ya gotta remember that it's basically a late-80's shape :) The stripes emphasise the subtle change in angle of the side panels, where I suppose later cars would have a curve.

I'm impressed by the general cleanliness and the sharp appearance of wheels and bumpers - you obviously look after your car. To me, there's a big difference between 'phat' looks and uncaring ownership, or modest original looks maintained with pride. I know how long it takes to clean alloy wheels... my Alfa takes about 30 minutes/wheel...

Some people modernise the Uno by painting the bumpers and doing away with all side strips and stripes, and that's fine too. But I think we all hate the type of Uno with mismatched colours and the door bottoms infested with rust... or how about my Uno Turbo with half the left side in primer-grey... I don't drive it at the moment ;-)

Flags

By the way - about the flags... you British are very patriotic - you can actually buy stick-on flags! I don't think I've ever seen cars over here with NZ flags and I've never seen stick-on flags for sale.

Of course most people elsewhere in the world wouldn't know what a NZ flag looks like or what the difference is between the NZ flag and the Australian flag, but I guess that's another issue :)
