General Soaking Interior - Help!

Anyone out there help? Bought a 2002 Siecento Sporting second-hand and have a bizarre problem. The seats are always damp, they have water stains in middle of both seats and seat backs, carpet behind drivers seat shows signs of previous soaking and carpet behind passenger seat is waterlogged and never seems to dry out, despite many sessions with kitchen towels! Sunroof isn't leaking as far as I can tell and I have no idea where water could be coming from. Any ideas out there??

If the seat cushions are wet, it must be coming from above, I'd suggest the sunroof. Check that the drainage channels are clear.

have u got pop out rear windows, mine leaked like hell on my uno, run along the top of the car and dripped down to the seats

quick way to check window seals ,sunroof etc is go to your local drive through car wash and just watch for leaks as you go through or if you have a hose just get a mate to soak the car while your in there.it just a case of hunting around. my back seat was damp the other day and its not coming in the windows so i need to investigate if the thieveing scum stop giving me work to do that is[!]

My mate's Punto sprung a leak in the rear-wash-wipe line, it was in the space between the roof and the lining, took ages to find, but soaked all the back seats.
