Ever since I've had the 1.2 8v engine in my cinq, it has what I would consider excessive smoke from the breather.
It's been like this for 4.5years.
The engine was rebuilt with a hone and new rings.
Compression is good and pretty equal, around 230psi.
It uses no oil or coolant.
I get no oil leaks from excessive crank case pressure.
The engine runs really well and performance is good (considering)
I've routed the breather through a catchcan, back into the intake, so it's not something that is overly noticeable now.
I'm just wondering what people's thoughts were on this as the smoke normally indicates blowby, but with decent compression and no other issues, I can see why it would be?
Any ideas?
