Technical Slowing Down - Problems??

Hello, this may be normal but i dont think it is!!

When i slow down into 1st gear when coming to a junction / lights etc, there seems to be a wurring noise coming from the front of the car untill the car comes to a dead stop! Does anybody know y it is making this noise??

Every Fiat I've had has done that, I only change into 1st when completely stationary or when going VERY slow, ie. 5mph max. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Does it sound like pads rubbing(normal)? Are you braking at the time?

I thought he meant that sort of whirring down noise, a bit like a washing machine when its slowing down, but obviuosly not as loud.

Yes thats the exact noise! Thats ok aslong as it is normal!

Changing down gears too ealy/fast. Slow down a litle before changing back into 1st
